Then Get Involved! Monster® is seeking the best-of-the-best speakers for the 2010 summer Diversity Leadership Programs (DLP). The DLP is the nation’s largest leadership program tour for college students. The dynamic, energy-filled weekends provides student participants the opportunity to build life and career skills and network with industry-leading employers while forging life long relationships with other high-achieving peers. We are looking for speaking talent that can be part of this mission; and are driven to help students CONNECT, LEARN, INSPIRE, and LEAD.

As a speaker for the 2010 DLP events you will be responsible for:

• Empowering students each weekend by leading and teaching critical life and career skills
• Inspiring college students to network with one-another
• Coaching students through diversity awareness
• Guiding them through the pillars of leadership that leads to success in the ‘real world’

But first, you must meet all the following criteria to be considered:

• 4-year Bachelors Degree, required
• 2-3 years public speaking experience; preferred
• Extremely strong stage presence
• Great self-image
• Excellent and dynamic public speaking skills
• Ability to speak to and engage an audience of students & sponsors
• Clear vocal projection and variance
• Ability to participate in at least two 2010 DLP weekend events (Friday – Sunday. Dates and locations for the 2010 DLP events coming soon.)

• 5-10 minute non-returnable video* demonstrating high-energy, enthusiasm, and ability to relate to college students in an educational format. (Video does NOT have to be created by a professional.)

*Video can be in VHS or DVD formats. If you require confirmation of receipt of application, we recommend that you ship your material UPS, FedEx or Airborne Express.
