Schedule At-A-Glance

Our highly-intense, interactive programs are proven to enhance the leadership strengths of our participants while providing them the tools to carve out their career path. Through the feedback of our DLP Alumni, participating sponsors, and partners - we build new, exceptional workshops every year.

The 2010 finalized schedule will be released to those who are accepted.

Friday
3:00PM-9:00PM Weekend Registration
All students are required to check in Friday night. If you are staying on campus, we ask all student participants to check in at the dorms first.
5:00PM-6:00PM Dinner
All meals are provided throughout the 3-day weekend.
6:00PM-7:30PM General Session Orientation
Let's kick-start the program off with an intro to the program, sponsors, and DLP staff. Prizes will be given away!
8:00PM-10:00PM The DLP Social
We invite sponsors and students to the 2010 program with a DLP-House warming party.

Overview of the program curriculum with a twist. Expect a fun, interactive networking activity with the 2010 sponsors.
10:45AM-11:30AM Group Project Introduction
Each program will focus on a special project that requires student participants to utilize their creativity, leadership, and collaboration. What is this project? You will have to attend to find out!

1:00PM-1:30PM General Session PowWow
The DLP will give you a few pointers to make your weekend a success. You never know, we might even give out a fun prize during this time!
1:30PM-2:30PM Inclusive Leadership: Valuing, Engaging, & Leveraging Diversity
In this dynamic session, participants get an opportunity to explore the definition of diversity and how to better leverage it in today's 'real world.'
2:40PM-3:00PM Group Project Time
3:00PM-3:10PM Break
3:10PM-4:30PM Sponsor Workshop: Career Pathing
Student participants will be learn about the different job opportunities ahead of them and explore what is best for them.
4:45PM-5:45PM Inclusive Leadership: The Whole Brain Approach
Ever wonder why how you might solve a problem is different from someone else? The Ned Herrmann model outlines different thinking styles in any organization to help you better your approach to communication, interpersonal relationships, problem-solving, and leadership.
